How SootheMeal handles your data.

SootheMeal ("we") runs soothemeal.com and the SootheMeal apps. Your check-ins, meals and conversations are sensitive, so we keep this simple.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email, password hash, sign-in sessions.
- What you log: check-ins (feelings, hunger ratings, notes), meals, SOS sessions, program progress, preferences such as meal times, timezone and region.
- Sage conversations: messages you send and replies. To generate replies, the message and a short summary of your recent check-ins are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
- Analytics: on our website we use Google Analytics to count visits and key actions. We never send your check-ins, notes or conversations to analytics.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with employers or insurers.
Your choices
You can export everything as CSV, or permanently delete your account and data, from Me in the app. You can also email hello@soothemeal.com.
Security and retention
Data is stored with our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and protected in transit. We keep it until you delete it or your account.
Children
SootheMeal is not intended for anyone under 16.
